16/f This summer I REALLY want to start eating healthier. I'm SO tired of fast food and soda. But I don't know what "healthy" is. You'd think a salad is healthy, even from fast food places and it turns out their salad has just as much calories as a big mac or w/e. So are there any snacks besides just plain fruits and vegetables. And something quick where I don't have to stand over a stove and cook. I only eat poultry, no beef, pork, etc. So maybe some vegetarian foods. What do vegetarians usually eat?
Thank you
I am a vegetarian, and there`s LOTS of quick, easy things you can make. Not to mention, they`re ten times healthier than meat, and you still get the protein and nutrients you need. Try Morningstar Farms Or Boca. It has vegetarian meat, such as chicken patties and bacon, all VERY healthy. They take about 2 minutes to heat up in the microwave (theyre frozen) and then theyre ready to eat [ iSLAND_x_KiiSS's advice column | Ask iSLAND_x_KiiSS A Question ]
Mandalove answered Thursday June 9 2005, 1:33 am: I myself am a vegetarian. Morningstar has a wide variety of meat like foods but its actually just soy protein. I'd check your local grocerers, brands like Morningstar, Gardenburgers, Boca burgers, etc. Please read labels and ingredients. I myself live on Morningstar. azngemini answered Wednesday June 8 2005, 7:46 pm: i think a lot of vegetarians eat tofu and rice. you should try vegetarian sushi, or california rolls. they're so good, and the crab is immitated. there are some vegetarian restuarants out there, but I've never been to one. my friend is a vegetarian, and she eats things like penne pasta, yogurt, sushi, mashed potatoes, just things without meat [ azngemini's advice column | Ask azngemini A Question ]
