i need help. i am 17 years old and i grew up in this really poor family downtown. we live in a small 4-roomed tralier and i go to a school where bullies pick on me all the time. i failed 4 years in a row becos my family couldnt afford a tutor for me becos i really needed one. i don't have any talents becos my family can't afford to send me to any classes. i just found out i am pregnant which caused me cervix cancer becosi recently got raped and beaten up by my boyfriend eric. i dont know what to do. i will kill myself. there is no more point in living.

Well, here is what I think about your question. There are no trailers downtown. Downtowns are not zoned for trailer parks. Under the No Child Left BEhind Federal Act, children who are failing in school have to be provided tutors. Bullying and beating kids up is also against the law. Talent is something you just have. An artist just needs pencil and paper. Also, if you have some artistic talents you can develop them later in life. There is a lot of information on the internet about anything you might be interested in, so you can still develop your talents. Pregnancy does not cause cervical cancer. You can dump your boyfriend, and if he is beating you up, why wouldn't you. YOu can also call the police on him. Go to school and demand a tutor, and demand that they protect you from being beaten up by the bullies, or you will go to the police and then go to the newspaper. If your family is poor, you should be on state assistance, they will cover the cost of your pregnancy and delivery and should also treat you for the cervical cancer.
If you are having a baby, isn't that a reason to live. The baby did not ask for any of this?

PS this I know for sure. Having a boyfriend at your young age,who beats you up, does not develop talents, and does not help you out in school. Being poor also does not mean that you will flunk out in school. That is a disservice to all the poor kids who still did very well in school. If you are now to old for high school, then you should go to adult education classes and apply for your GED.
There is one sure fire way to end up poor like you say your parents are. Quit school, and have children out of wedlock. If you want to AT LEAST be better off then they are. FINISH HIGH SCHOOL, and wait until you get married before having children. And one more thing, and this I added. DON'T GO OUT WITH ANYHONE WHO HITS YOU; EVER. IT WON'T STOP, NO MATTER HOW SORRY THEY SAY THEY ARE. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW. BUT ONLY YOU CAN STOP IT.
