this guy told me he could see me as a potential girlfriend... well how long do you think it would take him to ask me out.. and what could i do to make him like me more, so he would ask me out sooner?? please help

Just wait for your name to come up on his waiting list, im sure it will be fine. I just want to know how that conversation went, I couldn't forsee anyone just casually walking up to someone and saying "Hey, you look like someone I could love, but not right now. You will go on the potential girlfriend list."

Well Im not sure if this is the answer you are looking for but here is what I would do..
I would say "remember when you said you could see me as a potention girlfriend.. well does that mean maybe youd like to go out with me?" and most likely he is going to say yes.. then i think you should say "do you wana try and see what happens?" thats what i would do if a guy said that to me

it depends on the guy. if hes not very patient then he will ask you out sooner and if he is it might be longer. if you want to get him to ask you out sooner though, try flirting with him more and he'll be more attracted to you! hope i helped!
