okay well one of my friends was in a very bad car accident last night...she swerved off the road, the car flipped and she was thrwn from the car and stoped breathin so they put her into a coma. Right now she is suffering from a fractured skull, broken ankle, broken eye socket, broken nose, and many bruises.. Im not really sure what a coma is, and i dont really understand what the doctors are gonna do to her, so could somebody please explain to me ablout it?! thanks in advance!!
loving_monkey answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 7:05 pm: OMG! that's terrible! We;; A coma (in the easiest way to explain it) is were there like knocked out and in a deep sleep kind of! Like there kind of awear (sp) of their surronding's but are way out of it! And my friend died from a car crash, and I was so devistated(sp) but I learned everything happens for a reason! and what there probably doing for her is kunbing her and making her feel comfy!

icey0990 answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 6:44 pm: the person cannot respond to you ..its kind of like being in a deep sleep, only you cannot wake them out of it. the doctors do no put you in a comma, you have a coma from head injury or illness...and its something that can last a couple weeks. hopefully your friend will recover!
