There is really no way you can learn how to dance! When you slow dance with a guy make sure you put your hand around his neck and just move slowly. Besides that just go with the music. Also see how other people are dancing and try some of their moves. Have fun! ♥

Dancing really isnt that hard. When you start, it just kinda comes naturally. You just need to have rhythm and it really isnt that hard. Try watching some music videos (that may sound really corny, but I think it may help) Dont fret about it too much; nothing is ever as bad as you think!

This may sound embarrassing, but watch music videos--that have dancing of course! It doesn't even matter what time period its from--the basic dance steps never change. Just watch what they do in the video--and make turn it into steps you can do. ((I am not saying learn a dance routine or anything--that would be crazy)) But just see where they put their hands.

Also--from years of dance experience--the NUMBER ONE DANCE STEP that cannot fail--is the following (plus it makes you look very confident)

stand with your feet shoulder width apart and sway your hips in a figure eight moving from one hip to the other--you can put your hands on your hips--or if your daring--swing em around a bit!

This step works for almost ANY song--so if you get nervous--just go back to this basic step until you feel confident enough to try other steps!!

I hope I was some help-AND ENJOY YOUR PROM! remember--everyone is so busy dancing and having a good time--the only people who look silly are the ones standing alone on the side (afraid to dance!)
