ok so i really like my best friends boyfriend and they just broke up today and i still talk to her ex and shes getting mad at me and him for talking to me but i dont know if he likes me or not i kinda think he does cus we talk alot and like smile at each other and stuff but if he did like me i couldnt go out with him cus my best friend would like never talk to me again cus she really loved him.
i dont know what to do please help me!

Maybe give some free advice about: Love Life? shortiebebe021 answered Tuesday May 24 2005, 5:59 pm: i can understand why your friend is getting mad at you but you have every right to talk to him. explain to her that you're just talking to him, nothing else and that you'd never go behind her back and do something with him. you should be able to talk to him because he's your friend. just because she doesn't talk to him doesn't mean you can't. but don't talk about him around her, that might piss her off. you don't even know if he likes you yet so you won't know if he'll even ask you out. if he does ask you out (and hopefully by then your best friend is probably over him. if not, then that's a different story and if that happens, ask me for advice again. if i give you advice about that, this will be WAYYY too long) then you can say yes because you like him. maybe you could try hooking your friend up with someone else, so she could possibly forget about her ex (for hers and your sake). good luck! :) [ shortiebebe021's advice column | Ask shortiebebe021 A Question ]
