I have big and boring dark brown eyes..I don't like them at all..I want to enhance them in some way. What should I do..and what colors should I use? Also..how do you acheieve "soft/shy/pretty" eyes?
Teza answered Tuesday May 24 2005, 3:55 pm: To make your eyes stand out you should eather use black or dark brown eyeliner. For eyeshadow you should use, golds, tans, dark browns, light purples, and also the really popular smokey eye!! ♥ [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

soft/shy/pretty eyes- well you could do them in many ways, but I'd reccommend a translucent white color- it opens up your eyes and makes you look like a southern belle. If you want to tone down the white, try a lavender color (only if you're wearing pink) it's a toned down version of what the white powder does. chloewizard answered Sunday May 22 2005, 4:55 pm: for some bazzare reason i heard you could get different colour contact lenses if i'm right go for light blue. Otherwise just go for:
Light blue/ turquoise eye shadow with,
light pink/ light purple lipgloss.

Or if you have nice tanned skin go for:
A Darkish, bronzish brown eye shadow with,
A Dark, lushious rouge/red.

HoweveR, I go with a lot of light puRples, suttle pinks, and *TONS* of white and A LOT of black eyelineR -- I find that Really appReciates bRown eyes. HeRe's a tip: to get youR eyeshadow to last alllllllllll day, put some body lotion, oR PetRoleum Jelly on fiRst, THEN apply the shadow. Also, theRe's this technique I ALWAYS do, called "Shadowing". It cReates this AWESOME smokey affect!! You simply put on the coloR eyeshadow you wish to weaR, then using a bRistle bRush, dab a bit of gRay eyeshadoW oveR it!! It's goRgeous; I *NEVER* leave the house without it!! And as foR eyelineR... when it comes to liquid oR pencil, it's just a peRsonal pRefeRence. HoweveR, if you ask... MOST people will tell you that pencil is a betteR choice. It's a gReat staRt foR a beginneR who is just getting used to it. If you mess up, pencil is A WHOLE LOT easieR to clean up and Re-do than liquid would be. And if you plan on caRRying it aRound in a puRse oR pocket.. theRe's a chance that the liquid may Ruin. And now foR the pRoducts... peRsonally, I think the two best bRands of eyelineR out theRe aRe "MeRyl NoRman" and "Beautique". "MeRyl NoRman", which can only be puRchased at "The MeRyl NoRman Cosmetic Studios", is pRicey [typically $8.50 - $17.00], but it REALLY IS good stuff. It goes on wondeRfully, and stays on all day!!! On the otheR hand... I happen to think that "Beautique" is INCREDIBLE, howeveR, I've ONLY seen "Beautique" at "Sally's". And "Beautique" is only .99 cents. TRUST ME.. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy cRap make up!!! I get only the best, so please, please, please, please DON'T let this dollaR pRice thRow you off - you'd be cheating youRself out of the best pRoduct out theRe!! I'd PREFER "Beautique" out of ANY otheR bRand of eyelineR!! I could easily go out and buy a $15.00 pencil, but I'd RATHER get "Beautique"! "Beautique" glides on smoothly and REALLY LASTS ALLLLL DAY!!! I CAN NOT pRomote this item enough!! And if you still have doubts... foR only .99 cents.. it's woRth a shot!! Goodluck!! Feel fRee to come back to me if you eveR need moRe suggestions. Hope I helped!! [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
