ask him for his number

Question Posted Thursday May 19 2005, 11:06 pm

How do I ask a guy for his number (and/or give him my number) without it sounding like I like him? I want it to sound like I want his number just cuz hes my friend. (But I really do like him.) Sorry if that was confusing! :)

LOL not confusing at all .. just wait for the moment. say you got a new cell phone and you have no one in your phone book THEN ask for his number. it doesnt sound like you like him but it just sounds like you want people in your phone book , ya know?

just go for it, there is no harm in asking a guy for his number if he is your friend.
just bring it up in a conversation, and you never know what will happen...just don't call him too much if you do get his number.
hope i helped.

Just sign his year book and right your number in it.

Or what I've done before was I for help on homework. Or I just said if I call you later can you give me the answers. And if he said yeah sure then ask for his number, and be like just in case I lose this here's mine and call me by 8 if I haven't called you.
Or something like that.

Or just be like... summers coming and we should definitley keep in touch. Maybe go swimmin a movie or the mall. Heren't my number, call me sometime. Then if he catches on he'll give you his. If not, well hopefully he'll call you.

Or find someone who has his number, get it from them, and sign his yearbook writing your number, that way you have each others numbers.

This may seem like a cRappie answeR, but Really all you need to do is just flat out ask him. Just say something along the lines of, "Heyy.. can I get youR numbeR?" I know you make think that will still SEEM obvious to him, but tRust me.. it's all in the pResentation. So if you'Re woRRied, tRy pRacticing at home. Goodluck!
