hope i helped.

OrionsFire answered Friday May 20 2005, 12:34 pm: Eczema isn't contagious and causes severe itching. It is often treated with a steroid cream that you can get perscribed from your doctor if you do have it, otherwise the best lotion for overly dry skin is Eucerin.
KatLynn answered Thursday May 19 2005, 8:24 pm: Eczema* is a noncontiguous inflammation of the skin. Like you said, usually, red and can be itchy. I have it and like you, get it when I'm in extreme cold (or when I go from somewhere hot to somewhere cold). There is no cure for eczema but your doctor can prescribe something to keep it under control. Personally, I use Elidel. It works wonders and within minutes. Ask your doctor about that. Sporkster answered Thursday May 19 2005, 7:43 pm: Eczema is a type of chronic rash, I think. A girl in my class has it really bad. She gets a special kind of medicated lotion to put on it, and it stops itching/clears up in a couple of days. If you have eczema, try visiting your doctor and asking him to check it out for you. He can probably prescribe some good medicine for you. I hope this advice helps!
