bullying

Question Posted Tuesday May 17 2005, 3:16 pm

I dont know why, maybe my friend is just an easy target for them, but just the people in my class bully her so much! She lets trhem get to her and she wont participate in anything, and the school wont do anything about it, i dont think the teacher cares much, her parents definitly dont, abd her friends, ( not including me) dont say anything. actually they hang out w/ her cuz she has no1 else. she cant change schools, either. its been hard enough for her just starting her period, and shes failing almost every class. what should i do to help her?!!!

You really need to be there for your friend and support her, talk to her other friends too and get everyone to stick up for her. this will give her more confidence and make her happier.
Go with her to tell a different teacher about what is happening and how bad the bullying is. Tell a really nice teacher, someone who is easy to talk to and tell the head of year or head teacher.
Also get her to keep a diary (or you do it for her or as well as) of everyhting that has been said and done her her along with the date and time. it could just be a rough time of day, morning break or period 3 for example. then if they bullying hasnt died down, take the diary to the teachers again. They have to protect the students from being bullied.

also, have a look at these websites, you might find them helpful, [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Just be there to support her and talk to her. Tell them to back off and do something like tell them off back. try to get her to stand up for herself though. i was always made fun of but then i beat the hell out of some kid because he took it to far and spit in my face. 2Xs
good luck :)

o0 wow! Those people are idiots!! Im not saying they should be extremely nice to her but she defenetly deserves much more respect then what those people are doing to her!! You just need to be there for your friend. When people bully her in class stand up for her and let her know you care about her. Also tell her she needs to do something about it. She shouldnt let them do that to her and she needs to stand up to them. Tell the principal and he has to do something about it!! x0`
