Maybe youre stressed...if theres anything on ur min, try to clear it...and sleeping with the tv on is unhealthy, try to keep it off for a change..turn the lights off, and just close ur eyes..think of nothing..

Try talking to your parents about it ask them about maybe seeing a doctor about it. You might have mild insomnia or something like that and you could be perscribed sleeping pills for it. You could also try tylenol pm. It usually helps me sleep when I can't it might help you too.

Good luck and I hope I helped

Don't eat too late. Get your room really tidy and cosy, draw the curtains, switch the light on by your bed and burning a lavender candle is also good. It's a homeopathic remedy which promotes good sleep. Have a really nice warm bath before you get into bed and don't do anything too stressful. Sleep with your window slightly open too as you won't get a good night's sleep if you are too warm. Read or write in bed as that will make you tired.

try turning the TV off and reading or writing in a dim light, i write every night before i go to bed and it tires me out like crazy, and i sleep like a baby.

I agree, reading works. I have really bad sleeping problems too, and I take melatonin on nights when I can't sleep (so about 95% of the time). It also can depend on the food you eat. If you're putting a lot of junk into your body, it can mess up your sleep. My suggestion is don't eat too much junk, and find a really good book!
