I'm a junior in high school and I realize that soon, I will have to go to college soon. I really want to join a sorority but I have no idea how to and what they do. How do I find out about them? What do I have to do? What do sororities do exactly? Thanks for answering..I rate. (link)

Ok. Just yesterday I got my driving permit, and I'm a little nervous about driving on the bigger roads. Afraid I'm going to forget to look for signs, miss turns, etc. Anyone got any ways I can just chill and do everything I've learned without /over/doing it? Or maybe I should just start small for awhile, drive around in college lots or my own neighbourhood?

Maybe youre stressed...if theres anything on ur min, try to clear it...and sleeping with the tv on is unhealthy, try to keep it off for a change..turn the lights off, and just close ur eyes..think of nothing..

okay, what exactly is a yeast infection? (link)
|
There are many places on the body where yeast infections may occur. For sake of this discussion, I'll refer only to yeast infections that occur in the vaginal area or on the penis.
Yeast infections may or may not be transmitted by sex. They are most commonly seen in women, but men may also get them. Yeast infections are most often caused by an organism called Candida Albicans.
Some symptoms of a yeast infection may include:
A thick white discharge from your vagina or penis.
Itching in your vaginal area.
A red itchy rash in your vaginal area or on your penis.
There are many things that may increase your risk of getting a yeast infection, they are:
The use of birth control pills.
If you have diabetes.
Increase of your intake of milk products.
Increase of your intake of artificial sweeteners.
Having sex with someone who has a yeast infection.
The existence of a yeast infection in another area of your body.
Wearing tight clothing and non-cotton underwear.
How do you prevent yourself from getting a yeast infection?
Abstinence or practicing safe sex.
Wearing loose clothing and cotton underwear.
If you have several infections making sure that your blood sugar is under control and that you do not have diabetes.
What should you do if you think that you have a yeast infection?
Call your doctor right away. As with all infections earlier diagnosis and treatment is the best. Your doctor will probably want to see you, but may just suggest an initial treatment over the phone.
How do you treat a yeast infection?
Most commonly, doctors will prescribe a vaginal cream or a vaginal suppository if your a woman, and a topical cream if your a man. Most of these medications are over-the-counter now such as, Monistat and Gyne-lotrimin. These may be used from three to seven days depending on how bad your infection is and your symptoms. If your infection does not go away with these medications, your doctor may prescribe a different kind of cream or suppository such as Terazol. This is not over-the-counter. There are also some other special types of treatment that can be done by your doctor if you have a lot of these infections or they won't go away.
