this is sooooo frustrating!!!

Question Posted Saturday May 14 2005, 1:49 pm

Hi Karen!
Well, thank you for all your help with advising me! I really hoped too that by the time I emailed you back there would have been a preoper development... Well, one thing I did do though is tell my flatmate and ask her to get his number for me. She did this and I told her that I quite liked him. I texted him last night. My text went as follows 'Hi will, hope work isn't too stressful! R u out tonight-we should defs meet for a drink before you go back (can't remember when) and don't worry about your hair!!'
Now it's almost 24 HOURS LATER AND HE STILL HASNT TEXTED ME BACK-Agh I think I'm going to go mad soon!!
I find it so difficult anyway to be forward and things so sending that text took so much effort and willpower (as well as a couple of drinks!!) and I haven't got anything back.
I can't believe it. If he was really interested would he not have texted back immediately? I did something really bad today though - I put 141 before dialling his number to check his phone was working but so it didn't show my ID. I called it 3 times-at about 3, 4 and just a minute ago 6.30. The first 2 times it went straight to answer machine and when I tried it again it rang and I put it down straight away!
He obviously has received my text but I don't know what to do. I just feel really let down. The least he could have done is send me a text back to let me know where I stand.
Oh, I forgot to tell you that I saw him in the bar last night though. It was packed and he looked really busy. He stopped to say hi and he was really pissed as his flatmate had dyed his hair and it had gone orange. So he went to the hairdressers and they had tried to dye it back but it went white almost grey. So he had to go and buy some clippers and cut it to a Grade 1. I think he was late for work too which annoyed him more. I was in the bar with a girlfriend and my other friends boyfriend. When the friends bf went to the toilet, Will (the Australian) popped his head round the corner and asked if that was my flatmate and I said no. He went 'oh, ok' and walked off. Was he checking to see if it was a date or not? I kind of thought he was checking him out so that made me summon all my courage to text him!
What do you reckon!
thanks Karen

sheesh, I'm frustrated too. He sure sounds like he likes you so what is his problem??? I feel like kicking him. LOL! I mean why be curious about the girlfriends guy if he isn't interested? Just doesn't make sense. Is it possible he didn't get the text? I don't have a cell so I don't know that much about them. Is he rushing around trying to fix his hair? Orange?! my word! Could be he doesn't want to go home with weird hair and is desperatley trying to fix it. I know its difficult to get courage to talk to someone like you have been. Really wish you had more time so you didn't have to.
I guess the only options left are to call him again for one more try, or just wait and see if he calls back. Maybe he's having phone problem? Dead battery or something?
I hope he gets off his butt and calls soon. Let me know what happens. He better call!!! :)
