sarah0308 answered Monday May 9 2005, 9:14 pm: hey! im the same way about the grades..so i always get my dad to make a deal with me..try to make a deal with them where if all your grades on your report card is above 90 then they get you a new phone..thats wat i did with my dad except i had to have 92's or above! but since i knew i wasnt gonna get that, i 'renegotiated'(sp) with him and now im just gettin one! try that and if it doesnt work then offer to pay for half of the phone you want or (if your old enough) get a job and buy it yourself! offer to do anything around the house to get it!
