genital herpes

If someone has genital herpes and drinks or shares food with someone else.. can the person who drank out of the other persons drink spread it to whoever else drinks it?

No, not genital herpes. Maybe your getting it confused with a canker sore, which is also a herpes virus that you can get on your lip or the inside of your mouth. If that is the case then I wouldn't drink out of the same cup. :)

I don't think so. Unless they rubbed the food on their genitals and then shared it with you. Whatever, you shouldn't share food/drinks anyway, lots of things could spread that are worse than genital herpes. Mono, for example.
