More or Less a Friend
I think that I'm in love with my friend. It sucks really bad because he's all popular at his school and I'm not really all that popular. I have liked him since 6th grade. I try to tell myself that he is just a boy and that life will go on but then....I see him at my neighbor's house. It kinda ticks me off b/c in the sixth and seventh grade he was a geek and now that people started to like him he thinks he's all that. I have known that this guy was great all along and NOW girls are starting to notice what I noticed almost 4 years ago. I hate it and it is making me depressed b/c I know I will never be good enough for him. Is there anything I can do to get my mind off of him? Thank-you! I RATE HIGH!! 15/f

I think you should go after the guy. He might say no but he could also just as easily say yes! Why not at least try before giving up all together? If you'd rather just forget it, then try going out with someone else to get your mind focused on someone besides him.

Ok first of all, dont put yourself down by saying that youll never be good enough for him. THATS NEVER RIGHT, AND THAT'LL NEVER MAKE YOUR PROBLEMS WITH HIM GO AWAY. If you are friends with this guy, you guys should talk. And dont be jealous. There will always be other girls out there who will like the same guy that you do. Sorry to say it.. but it is true. Theres really nothing you can do to get your mind off of him, Just stay his friend, and maybe he'll like you the same way you like him.

WoW! Thought I was the only person that had that bad of luck. Same thing happened with me, except Im the guy and shes the girl. I know it's pretty much the obvious answer-but talk to him. Tell him how you feel and make sure he understands where your comin from. Tell him that you've had your eye on him. I did that and we hooked up...Good Luck

thats sucks but i know what you mean.. i constantly think of this guy i used to be close to and now i never see. it really sucks.. i tihnk the only thing we can do try to find someone else. theres more than one true love for everyone. and if he cant see how great you are then i dont think hes that great anyways :o)
