xanga help
ok well... i have this pic on my xanga but my friend put it there a long time ago. i want to change it but dont know how. shes not friends with me anymore so i cant ask her again. someone please tell me how to do it!

When you are on xanga go into edit profile then go to profile pics!

ok you go to the section edit profile or sumthing like that and then go to profile pics on the side module and then you can delete the pix of upload some!!

You have to go into your profile section. When you sign in it should be located on the 'left module' under the category "Edit" as xanga calls it. Click on that and once again, on the left it should "Edit Profile: Basics .. Contact .. Interests .. PROFILE PICS " you should click on the fourth one that says 'profile pics'. On the left side it should say "View Profile Pics >>" and "Upload Profile Pics". Click on "upload profile pics". Then, scan the picture you want onto your computer if you haven't already done so. Then, where it says "Choose Picture" click "Browse" and choose the picture you want and click "Open" on that window. Under the space that will have your pic address, make sure you have a check mark where it says "Make this picture your Default Profile Pic". Then click "Upload Picture". Sorry, I don't have any more pics that I can upload to finish helping you through step by step, but it's pretty easy after that. You just have to press save and stuff, if I remember correctly. That depends on where the pic is...is it in one of your entries or is it actually in your layout?
If it's in your entries, you need to go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and search through old entries until you find it, then when you find which entry it is in, click "edit", then replace the url (example: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) with the url of YOUR picture. You can host your picture at places like imageshack.us.
If the picture is actually in your layout, just go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), and look for the url of the pic you want to replace (example: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)). If you're having trouble finding it, you can hit ctrl and f on the page and type in the exact picture url and it'll highlight the url. Just replace the picture url with the new one (example: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)), and hit save changes. You can host your picture at places like imageshack.us if you don't have anywhere to host your new picture.
By the way, if you don't know what the old URL of the pic is, just right click, click properties, and you will see the url.
