hi!!!! im in 7th grade and i used to be best friends with this girl last year. but now in 7th, she has someone else a best friend. i really want her to be friends but i think she'd rather hang out with the other girl. what should i doo!!!! :(
1) you learn to become friends with the other girl and then hang out with both of them. that way that you can hang out with your best friend and meet a new one :)
2) you confront her and tell her how you're feeling about all of this. if she's the type of person to be upset that she hurt you, then you're good to go. just ask her to hang out more often. but if she got mad and saying you're jealous or something. then give her space - maybe she'll come around.
3) find someone new. she has so why don't you? you may not want to but you'll find it more fun to be hanging with a buddy than to wait for one to come back. trust me, i know. i used to have a best friend too - but middle school absolutely killed it. she's still my friend but we don't hang out like we used to. and i'm okay with that becuase i've gotten closer to other people and i've made new friends that i can make more memories with. it's always good to have more than one best friend! ;)
-try those and tell me what happened. :)
and ps - 7th grade i found it very hard friend wise. all the girls are so emotional and they're mean to everyone. that's why you gotta love guys. hang out with some guys for a while until the girls are calm again. trust me, in 8th grader - things are much better and you find your TRUE group of friends :] [ HEREtoHELPx3's advice column | Ask HEREtoHELPx3 A Question ]
