feverdancer03 answered Sunday May 1 2005, 3:29 pm: Unless you get it chemiclaly straightened...the only way you can get it straight is by blow drying or using a flat iron. Also getting your hair chemically straightened costs a lot of money because its like a japanease or chinese method. i think you can only get it done right at a real salon. Hope i helped! Also why dont you just try scrunching your hair sometimes instead of starightening it. Like put gel in your hair when you get out of the shoower and scrunch your hair. It should look cute!
To answer wat you asked me in my feedback, you like get your hair wet...put gel in your hand then like start from the bottom of your hair snd scrunch (like push and squeeze up to the top of your head). [ feverdancer03's advice column | Ask feverdancer03 A Question ]

OrangeChikn answered Thursday April 28 2005, 10:19 pm: AHHH!! I feel your pain. My hair is exactly the same. But I have found the best way is to blow dry, even if it isn't all the way. It normally makes it look at least somewhat good. :)
rainbowsend answered Thursday April 28 2005, 6:36 pm: Perhaps you could consider cutting your hair shorter. Now I know this won't solve all your problems, and perhaps you don't want to at all, but I'm just suggesting it because shorter hair is often easier to manage. It dries faster, so you could probably keep running your fingers through it as it air dries to make it dry straight.
The suggestions about using some sort of straightening serum are good ones.
You could also wear your hair scrunchy when you don't want to have to straighten it with heat. Scrunch it with gel to get a more curly look than straight. Again, just a suggestion. [ rainbowsend's advice column | Ask rainbowsend A Question ]
sshelbyy answered Thursday April 28 2005, 6:33 pm: Theres really nothing you can do to straighten your hair except get it permanently straightened which could cost between 100 and 400 dollars. My sister had it done and her hair is stick straight everytim eshe gets out of the shower! <p> If that isnt an option, I would suggest buying a straightening sprits and using that when you straighten, and buy a good straightener so it goes quicker. After you streighten evryday for like a year, it starts to become easier and more normal, straightening your hair everyday. [ sshelbyy's advice column | Ask sshelbyy A Question ]
Karen answered Thursday April 28 2005, 4:41 pm: You can use straightening serums by Paul Mitchell and that will help keep your hair straight, after it dries. There are mooses by Pantene Pro-V and Garnier Fructice that will do the same. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
