I got highlights about 3-4 months ago. My mom said i can only get them done by the hairdressers every 6 months because its expensive. But it looks really bad now. Is there any product I can buy thats like a do-it-yourself highlighting kit?

Just go to the hair-type-section in a local drugstore, there will be stuff. Just take my warning, it's not as easy as it looks, lol. Hope I helped! Ashley1 answered Wednesday April 27 2005, 12:41 pm: It's a good idea to buy shampoos for color treated hair. Really any hair dyes can damage your hair. If I were you use lemon juice out in the sun or buy hair products with lemon juice that will give you natural highlights out in the sun. They don't have any chemicals. :-) Lemon Lights by John Frida is the best one out I know of. :-) [ Ashley1's advice column | Ask Ashley1 A Question ]
