You also need to talk to him and let him know that people do sometimes have a bad moments where they may yell a little. It isn't something to blow out of proportion. If he's going to get that bent out of shape about it and an apology doesn't change things then I'd get out of the relationship all together. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
Foxsea17 answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 9:42 pm: Well, I think instead of just saying "I'm sorry", you should really talk to him about what happened. Tell him that you feel that he has been acting differently lately and that you have a feeling it's because you snapped at him a few days back (which it might not be, it could be something else). See what he says then and go from there. I assume you are very sorry for snapping at him, so let him know how badly you feel for letting your feelings get out of control. I've accidently snapped at my boyfriend a few times, and afterwards, he'll act quiet or distant for awhile. When I notice, I'll ask him about it, apologize, talk to him, and then everything is back to normal! Hope everything works out for you!! [ Foxsea17's advice column | Ask Foxsea17 A Question ]
craazylau answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 5:19 pm: I think you should probably apologise to him. Just say that you really didn't mean to snap at him and you're really sorry and you know that you were in the wrong. Say that you miss him being himself and it's made you realise how much he means to you! I'm sure he'll be fine about it if you're just honest with him! good luck [ craazylau's advice column | Ask craazylau A Question ]
