i am getting pro-active because everyone says its so amazing haha and nothing seems to get rid of my acne but if it works for me.. and gets rid of my acne would i be able to discontinue using it after awhile? because i dont want to be so dependent on it.

i use proactive and it works great! if it works for you i dont think that you should stop using it. you can ask a dermatologist to see what he thinks but for better results, and not have the acne come back, you should continue to use it.

No, you shouldn't. Be lucky it works on you; I have to take medication to keep my face clear.

Oh it works so good! like me my mom and my cuz all use it, my teach even aske me how much it costs..any way, i used it and when the acne went away i stopped, i just use dthe lotion sometimes..but then when i see my acne coming back..i start using it again. But it really depends on ur skin type. Hope i helped!

Yea you would be able to discontinue using it after your acne is gone. It works good too!

Once your face clears up after you use Proactiv for a few weeks, you can stop using it if you want because your acne won't come back instantly. If you start breaking out again, then you should start using it again. It depends on your skin type. If you break out easily, then I wouldn't stop using it. If you don't break out that much, then you can discontinue using it. I used Proavtiv for a few weeks and stopped after my face cleared up and my face stayed clear for a pretty long time until I had little break outs and that's when I started using it again. Trust me, it does work and it's worth the price.
