The right birth control I'm currently on the birth control show and my gynocologist has just informed me of the dangers of being on it for more than two years. I need to switch my birth control method and I'm trying to decide between taking Seasonale (the birth control pill that gives you 4 periods a year) and the birth control patch. Has anyone tried either or both of these? I'm having trouble deciding which one to do. Any suggestions or advice?

The patch has more hormone related side effects (from what I've seen) like weight gain. Ask your doctor which she prefers to perscribe. ]
umm duh seasonale then you only get 4 periods just think how awesome that would be ]
Seasonale will give most people Irregular periods for a year or two.. its somewhat experimental still.. I think the patch would b the best bet ]
seasonals better ]
I don't think that you should use the patch, i think you should take the pill becasue patches don't really work(i've heard from things on the websites). Hope i helped! ]
