Explain to them why you want it. If they say no, tell them they can set times and channels you can watch tv. If that doesnt work .. act real responsible for a few weeks and prove that yur mature enuf to have it! Good luck - Kymmy

Well I know that from experience that the way to get one is not to beg, lol. I would try to act really responsible (i.e. do all your chores, do well in school, take care of your responsibilites) and let them know you wouldn't be watching television 24/7 and that you would only be watching your favorite shows like a few times a week.

Tell them its not worth throwing away because it still works and you want it in your room. Dont argue and just be a good kid towards them. l0l x0

Ask them, for a first step. If they say no, ask if you can do some things around the house for awhile to get them to let you have it.

Tell them that your old enought to have a tv, and that you can handle one, Say i might as well have it if your going to throw it away because its just a waste, DO stuff around the house make them breakfast in bed thats a good way of buttering them up.
