Laptop Print Screen Key?

Question Posted Friday April 8 2005, 5:51 pm

Ok, my friend has this Compaq Presario (laptop), and there is no print screen key. She really needs to get her screen copied to her 'clipboard' so she can put it on paint (she wants to make msn avatars using cartoon dolls) and I don't know how to help her because I'm not using a laptop!!! Is there some control+? combination or something? This is urgent...thanks!
NOTE: I've tried google and other help sites but can find nothing...

on my laptop you have to hold down Fn and then press Insert...its kinda hard to figure out cuz its like
Insert<white
Print Scrn<blue
and then the other one is blue so you kinda have to play with it to figure it out...look at her keys again and see if its something like that

A laptop should have a key labelled "PrntScrn" or "Prt Sc" or something like that... If there isn't one, show me a picture of the keyboard and see if I can find it...

I think you can also do print screen by pressing F11 or F12... if she has a user's manual, look in that, otherwise you may be able to find a copy of that online.
