Maybe you could do babysitting, yard work, cleaning people's houses. People will hire you for that and you'll make money. You could put an add in the paper or something. If you really want your hair straightened then you must be willing to work for it!!!

OK...well you never know, your stuff on eBay might sell really well!! Have you put ALL your junk up for sale? Even old books and videos?
Old clothes, if you have any, could go into a jumble or car boot sale. Anything that doesn't sell on eBay could be sold at one of those.
Put ANY money you have so far in a bank, high interest account preferably (ask your parents to do this for you) to make it gain at least a little bit of interest. It'll probably only be around 1% but it's better than nothing!!
I know you really want your hair straightened but is it worth it? How long will it last? Try going to your hairdresser and getting your hair thinned out and maybe chemically straightened first.
You'll never be able to make enough money before your birthday, unless you like robbed a bank lol...most average adults jobs wouldn't give you nearly £400 in a month, and there isn't even a minimum wage for under 16's. So you might as well ask for just money for your birthday too.
You could try babysitting around your street. You'd be suprised how many people prefer kids to babysit their children - they charge so much less than the professionals. Make and print some flyers out at school to save on your own ink and post them around the houses in your road.
You could also do car-washing. You might want to try car-washing first and then when people get to know you and know that they can trust you, you can offer to babysit for them too.
Do a paper round. It's pretty good pay and you can usually choose when you do it. Plus if you do it quick then it won't even take you very long, and you can take a friend with you (maybe the two of you could view it as excersize. You could go on your bikes to speed things up).
Do some waitressing after school and at the weekends, or work in a hair dressing salon (you'd only brush up hair and make tea but it's pretty good pay for that).
If there is a WHSmiths around you, you could go and ask if you can do some shelf-stacking there. They almost always hire under 16's for that kind of thing.
Take any old games (game boy, playstation, etc) into a branch of Game. They usually pay kinda well for them...maybe £5 a game?
Blockbusters are also doing a deal where you can exchange your old videos and DVDs for cash or 'credits' to rent new ones. They even take ones that look a bit 'worn' and really, really old ones. They usually just sell them on.
Keep an eye out for stuff you can buy really cheap then make a profit with on eBay. For example, the old videos that Blockbusters sell on - you could buy a couple for like £3 each and then sell them at £5 each. This works for tshirts and stuff in sales. If you keep the labels on (but just cut of a teeny bit of the tag where the price is) then you can say they've never been worn and more people will buy them. Remember that you'd need the hangers as well.
Buy less food at lunch - maybe get water, which is not only cheaper but healthier, instead of a can of something, and you can save up the extra money.
Good luck!!
Blessed Be,
Rach xxx
