Karen answered Thursday April 7 2005, 9:27 pm:
First of all, you are below the average weight at your age and height so you really don't need to lose 5 pounds. But if you do, then I'll tell you.

You need to start eating healthy, watching how much you eat, and exercise daily. If you go on a low carb diet, you will lose around 10 pounds in a few weeks. Start eating salads, fruits, vegetables, and anything that isn't unhealthy for you.

You can run or jog on a treadmill or around your neighborhood for a mile. You can run in place and jump rope to pump up your heart before you actually exercise. If you need to lose weight in a certain area, then do certain exercises that target those areas. If you mentioned what parts of your body you need to tone or lose weight, I would have gave you some exercises. But go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and you'll find exercises.

Once you lose 5 pounds, watch out because you can easily gain it back.
