1^give up, hes going to college probably next year and itll break your heart anyway
2^try to hang out at a lot of sports or activities after school and try to catch him there, then you just gotta suck up some guts and go for him!

Just be yourself. Try to have conversations with him. Just get in there and be seen and heard. I don't mean be loud, just talk to him!
