trickless turtle

i have a pet turtle and it cant do anny tricks. all of my friends turtles can do tricks and its not fair. ive tried training it but it still wont do annything! can someone tell me how to get my turtle to do trix? thanx

Trickless Turtle Owner,
I don't know much about turtles, .. almost nothing at all. But, since no one else has answered your question, I'll give it a go.
Some training methods that are used for mice and will probably work for your turtle include showing the turtle his favorite food, then putting it at the end of a maze, letting the turtle find the food. That is training with food. You could also attempt training with electric shocks. (very, very low voltage!)
You could try using hot sauce to do things, just a dab of hot sauce on his mouth.. who knows what might happen?
This really is a trial and error situation. Try asking your turtle-owning friends what they did to train their turtles. Remember though, his brain is about the size of a fourth of a jellybean..
