well, there is this guy at school and he is really nice and such and i like him but i dont know if he likes me. sometimes when we are talkin he will just randomly sign off or if i say hi then he signs off...but other times he says hi to me and makes jokes about stuff and acts really nice. i dont get it and i dont know if he likes me or not. should i ask him or not? please help!

Next time he is talking and joking you might just ask him. I'd at least ask him about the randomly signing off thing. Maybe someone came into room that he didn't want to see your conversation. :)

I think he just likes you as a friend, as from the siging in and out he might just have nothing better to do.

well the whole randomly signing off thing gives it away. he likes you more or less like a friend. i dont think he likes you. so i guessin you sholdn't ask him out. at least not until you become betta friends. i hope it all works out
