Ok, well, if you are shaving your armpits, it doesn't hurt unless you do it really hard. What I would do is when you are in the shower, put a lot of soap on your armpits and then just shave them and wash it off after. If you are shaving your legs, do the same and this NEVER hurts. It actually feels good when its done! Just put some soap on it, and make sure your legs are wet, and then just pull the razor up on your legs. Just real smooth strokes and do it soft, not hard, but not TOO soft either. Afterwards, like once you are out of the shower, you dont have to do this, but it feels real good to put some lotion on after. Now if you're talking about, well, shaving some of the hairs off your butt because you dont want them hanging out of your bathing suit, I'm sorry, I haven't got there yet!! But I hope this helps you!

Emily

the kind of razor i use is venus and i personaly think it is one of the best razors that have ever used. shaving does not hurt only when you cut your self but as long as you dont go sideways with it then you wont cut your self i really can not help you on waxing because i have never had it done but i have heard that it hurts but anyways i think shaving is much easier than waxing
hope i helped

When I first began to shave my legs [I did my underarms earlier] I was a bit scared, and opted for that Veet Spray On stuff. Let me tell you first hand that it DOES NOT WORK WELL AT ALL. You'll be there FOREVER. Razors do not hurt you as long as you don't press to hard and gently like stroke your legs. Shaving, in my opinion, is much better than waxing or that spray on stuff by Nair or Veet. For a shaving cream, Barbasol actually works really well- it's a men's shaving cream but works AMAZING on legs, and Gillette works well also. If you have any questions, just send me a message! Hope I've Helped ♥ and don't be afraid- once you start shaving you will get used to it!

If you are just sharting to shave i sugest you dont wax right away. The skintimate shaving cream line is good for begginers and the venus razors cause less cuts than other razors.
hope i helped!

I wax and shave.

Waxing hurts because the hair on your body is literally pulled out of your skin.

Shaving doesn't hurt unless you accidently cut yourself or get razor burn afterwards. If you get razor burn, use aloe vera based lotions or creams. Shaving can cause ingrown hairs, which suck, but can be prevented by shaving correctly and by using the right products.

Sorry, I don't know what brands are best. I use Sally Hansen for waxing or I go to a pro. I always experiment with shaving stuff, I'm trying to find what's good for my skin. Good luck. =D
