A lunge is where you step forward and bend the forward foot down. You want your back knee to almost touch the ground but not completely. Then you do the same with the other leg. I don't think you should do too many first time because they can make you REALLY sore.. And squats are just like the name, squatting down and standing up.

One thing is.. you should give yourself time to rest.. or eat lots of carbs to get your energy back because if you don't you'll just burn yourself out and it's dangerous. I'd say do a hard work out every other day, and do a less stressful one between. To walk I'd say about 2 miles on the hard days half a mile on the easy ones. And the weight all depends on how much you can lift. On the hard days do as much as you can safely, and on the easy days do about half of that.

Good luck! :)

Walk until it burns...speed walkin is the best too, it burns calories. Also, do alot of crunches, gives ya a sexy stomach. Squats (without weights) is spread ur feet bout shoulder length apart, put ur arms straight out in front of you and bend down till your legs are at a 90 degree angle...lunges put on foot out in front of the other, and bend down until your knee of the back leg is touching the ankle of your foot in front of the other...switch, do it again..switch again, and so on and so on. Good luck, don't beat yourself up. Much Love!!

well i don't think that you will get that much improvement in only a week or week and a half, but i think that is is really great that you r being so determined. walk untill you now you need to stop, if you r dead tired then stop. but if you have sum energy still then just slow walk the rest. also try to eat healthy. my advice is to not go on sum huge diet but just cut back, like dont have dessert every night, or don't have candy just when you want somethin sweet. well i hope i helped. *RATE ME PLEASE* -x0xTarax0x

okay, i'm going to be honest, nothing will really really help in a week and a half, but tae bo and tennis would be amazing, and will start working on you quick, so you might notice a small difference in a week. ♥ if you are still uncomfortable, get a sarong for your bathing suit! good luck

If you want to look for squats and lunge directions, search for it on google.

As for toning your legs, the results are gradual. Be careful not to overwork yourself, do it at a good pace. Otherwise your legs will end up bulky and muscular! I've learned from experience, I did calf raises to tone my already ok looking legs but they ended up bigger than I had wanted.

As for how fast and how far, just go with what you feel comfortable with. If you walk faster, you'd get more tone and burn more calories, same goes for walking longer.

Good luck!

To learn how to do squats, go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and to learn how to do lunges, go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). I would tell you how to do each of the exercises myself, but it would be confusing. Start off doing a little bit and gradually increasing your sets. Just do 2 sets of 10 of each exercise when you start. Don't do that many exercises in one day or your legs will become really toned and you will see muscle. Just do this at a normal pace. Go to this link to learn how to other leg exercises: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location).
