Ok this may sound really cliche, but bring up random topics. Like the weather... anything. If you have a class with him ask him a question about a problem your having. Just try to get his attention. About the best friend wow...... toughie. Two things to think about
a. does you best friend like anyone one else besides the guys your interested in.
b. is he worth potentially ruining your friendship.
