Okay, first of all--> Make damn sure that your best friend is over him. COMPLETLY over him. If you expect to get serious with this boy, you have to make sure of it. If she claims shes over him, then tell her. Because in reality, it shouldn't matter who the hell you wanna go out with, regardless of his past relationships. Because news-flash: ITS IN THE FUCKING PAST. And there must've been a REASON why that relationship didn't work out.
Second of all-->You should try getting to know him more first. I mean, no offense, but how in HELL are you gunna know that you actually like someone if you only met once? Approach him (dont be scared now) and see if ya'll click. If you have a good time with him and can't wait to see him again, then oohlala, a crush has formed. :) But yea, after that, do the usual. Flirt& such. If things hit off, great. Happy for you. If not, then the he doesn't deserve you. =]
