If you have very dark hair, you will need to bleach the parts of your hair you plan on dying, or it won't show up well.
jeanine278972 answered Monday March 14 2005, 5:36 pm: Hottopic has kits.. for red, green, pink, blue, and other odd colors.. Make sure you get the pre bleaching kit if you do.. its another $10 but.. if you dont then it doesnt show up very good... i did the red on my hair..and it was supposed to be BLOOD red, and it came out a light brown color. ThugGirl041790 answered Monday March 14 2005, 3:44 pm: Okay ive done the tips of my hair so many times it isnt hard... um okay seperate your hair into two pony tails keep em low and move the rubberbands as low as you want your tips to begin at.. then only dye that part with the hair dye..Make sure you get it throughly on the tips cause it might be real thick and you dont want some to dye and some not to dye.. hope i helped much luv dez x0x0 [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]
br0kenPr0miiSes answered Monday March 14 2005, 3:41 pm: heyy i tipped my hair last summer.. you cant do it at home. well you can but u need to buy stuff. my aunt did mine and first she bleached the ends.. she put the bleach in a peice of tin foil and then put it around the tips.. and then she put in the pink dye.. and she did the same thing with the tin foil.
