Sometimes you just can't help your emotions. Even though your friend likes him, you have the right to like people too even if its the same guy. I know you dont' want to becuz your friend does but if you like the guy you have feelings and you should ask him out becuz it's your feelings and your emotions so go for it becuz your friend can ask him out if she wants to but i would if i were you, becuz if your friend asks him out he might say yes and you'll be stuck thinking about him knowing you can't have him.
