Almost a year ago two months from now I met a girl on the net over an MMO. She's young like me, 17, and has a very addicting personality. We became friends quickly, and we talk about alot of things together, and swap alot of pictures from good times we've had with friends, family, etc. I found her to be attracting, but foudn it strange too. I've not met her in RL at all, because she lives states away... but the most freaky thing is that we're going to that state this summer break, very close to her area..
So, what if, when I meet her, I /do/ like her? My parents know that we'll be meeting, and they don't have any negative feelings about it. What should I do, try to let her know and then maybe during or after college make a move?

But she lives in different states YOU MET HER ON THE INTERNET! she could be 50 for all you know! she could be sending you pictures of other kids in her state or her younger you never know people who do this get hurt (most times) Make a move when you can do what you want i am just saying about people who meet on the internet.....hope helped and good luck big time

I see no reason why you can't be friends. She lives a long way off so I wouldn't expect more than that. Also she is enough older than you that I really don't think she's going to wait around for a romance. Sorry. That doesn't mean you can't be great Inet buddies. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
