I used to have this friend. I could have told her ANYTHING. Well, I told her this secret about something personal. She kept it for awhile. Then one day she heard something and wouldn't tell me. I got mad because I thought she was my bestest friend. So I told her that our friendship was over. That went well for like 3 days. She started to tell EVERYONE in the school about my deepest secret. (I think to get back at me.) I told my mom about it, and my mom went to her parents about it. That all got taken care of (and her and I were still not friends). Then just recently there has been a rumor going around that I like this guy...and I don't. She just doesn't get it. How should I take care of this situation so she doesn't spread anymore rumors??? I need advice!!!

I'm gonna just tell you everything right now! We didn't spread any rumors about you. I promise. But we didn't like the fact that you got your mom into this. I mean cmon we're old enough to take care of this ourselves especially if it's just a rumor since rumors are passed around everyday! And that rumor has been around for a while. But ever since my friends found out we were fighting, they all of a sudden made that rumor even worse.
And for the second rumor about you and the guy, well that wasn't me either. He showed me that note that you wrote him and a few people read it outloud to the whole class.
So I didn't start anything and if you still think that I did, well then there's nothing much that I can do about that.
And I'm sorry if you got your feelings hurt and I'm sorry you can't see things from our point of view. But the bottom line is that we didn't do anything whether you believe us or not.
