Same as braiding it, and if you don't know that (how many different words are there for this?), you take some of you hair, divide it into three strands, cross the one on the right over the one in the middle, then you cross the one on the left to the one that is now in the middle, and then you repeat this until you reach the end, and then you tie it up with a ponytail holder....
