I need help deciding what i should do this summer. I wan to go to camp, but my mom wants me to take a college course at North Western, which would be okay, because I would take Journalism, which I like, but then I can't go to camp. I really like them both, well, I like camp more, but Taking a college course now will look REALLY REALLY good on, like anything. What do I do???????? Thanks! I Rate!!
It sounds as if your mom might be letting you decide. If so that is great! Maybe you could have her help you make some lists. Get 2 sheets of paper. Make 2 columns on each. On one paper right all the reasons to go camping in one column and all reasons for taking the class. On the other paper. Make the same columns only list the bad things about each. Writing it down where you can look at it is helpful...Be honest with it. Not much but hope it helps a little. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

You should pick your interest that you like to do more but it sounds like you want to go to camp, rather than taking this course. Talk to your mom and tell her that you will always have time to take Journalism and not going to camp.
