um well my brother in college just told me that he is suffering from depression but he says hes going to counseling but he lives 600 miles away so its hard to know for sure but like he normally tells me pretty much everything but he wont talk about what is so bad and i dont know what to do, cuz he lives so far away and whatever. any ideas?

If he says he goes to counseling, then he probably does because a brother would never lie about something like this. Tell that if he ever needs to talk to someone that you are there for him and that you will talk to him.
