um well my brother in college just told me that he is suffering from depression but he says hes going to counseling but he lives 600 miles away so its hard to know for sure but like he normally tells me pretty much everything but he wont talk about what is so bad and i dont know what to do, cuz he lives so far away and whatever. any ideas?

Depression can be a hard thing to go through, and difficult to talk about. Sometimes you can't really explain the way you're feeling inside, and why you're feeling so sad. I would just continue to write him, or talk to him on the phone; and let him know that you are going to be there for him no matter what. Make sure he knows that you love him and care about him. With time, he may open up... Best of luck.

You just need to continue talking to him and being there for him and helping him out. If he says he goes to counseling, then he probably does because a brother would never lie about something like this. Tell that if he ever needs to talk to someone that you are there for him and that you will talk to him.

if he had a gf where he used to live or if he misses sumthing. life in college can be hard and pressuring. sumtimes its grades or he did sumthing or hurt sumbody. i cant really say wats goin on cuase idk wats goin on wit him. but i gave you sum ideas and i hope i helped.

Well in colledge therez alot of thing going on he probaly misses his fmily and the school work is to hard and he doesnt get enough sleep and he could be stressing alot and there isnt mich you can do about it maybe you can send him a card or something that could make him feel better

during spring break maybe you can go to where ever he is and make sure he's doing ok and just talk.
