Question Posted Monday February 28 2005, 8:07 pm

I have just shaved my pussy, and it didnt shave all off. Now it has been a day after and I have red bumbs and its sort of itchy. I dont know if I should continue or not. And if I dont will the hair grow back normaly or will it be thicker and darker. I tried shaving it because my best friend a guy told me that its disgusting if I dont and that he has fingered a girl with hair and he didnt like it and that all of his friends agree. Even though I dont want to do it just because he told me to, I am self consious and dont know if its normal or not. I also want to know like I havent made out with a guy i mean they have tried but i just turn away i told my friends that I have because they are more expierneced then me and I thought they would judge me if I hadnt. And now when i have a boyfriend im nervous cause i dont know how to and they do. What should I do about the situation, can you please help me!?!?

The red bumps are just razor burn. Make sure you put plenty of body lotion on it regularly and it will get better. I think you should continue with it because it does get better the more times you do it. As for the thing about the hair growing back thicker and darker, it is a myth. The hair grows back with a blunt edge which makes it stubbly but it wont be thicker or darker.

As for the making out thing. Don't worry about it. You just have to relax and it will be fine. When you're ready it will come naturally. If you have turned away in the past, you probably weren't ready.
