i'll rate a 5 if you read this long story!
ok, flashback like 2 years. there was this guy who i always thought was pretty cool, but i DID NOT like him. we weren't exactly friends... it was like one of those dumb " 6th grade-i-hate-you-i-hate-you-too" things. of course we didn't actully hate each other, we would just said that cause we were dumb little 6th graders (actually, we were always playing and goofing around and laughing all the time in class with each other.)but the thing is that around the middle of the year, all of his friends just started to tell me that he liked me a lot and stuff, but i never listened to them either cause i just didnt believe them or i didnt want to believe them, but i didnt.i knew they wouldnt just bother to tell me for no reason, though. anyway, that guy (let's call him W) and i never talked about it. i dont think he even knew his friends would tell me all that stuff.but during that summer, i just realized that i was really starting to like him. fast forward to about 4 months ago. all these rumors were going around about it and he ended up hearing about it from more than one person, and he suddenly started to avoid me and vice versa. then one time he told my friend " dile a ella que no se haga falsas ilusiones" which means "tell her not to make herself any false illusions". i was getting tired of it though, so my friend, being the dumbass that she is told him that i didn't like him, that he's a fricken dumbass, and a bunch of other crap and embarrassed him in front of his friends (haha) and said it was all from me. after a while, we started talking a little bit again, but only cuz we had to for school. anyway, he somehow (?) got a hold of a note my friend and i were sending to each other in class, saying all this time about me liking him. the next day my friend told me that she'd heard him tell someone that he ws never gonna talk to me again. i told her to tell him that he didnt have to worry either, i wasnt gonna talk to him either. we havent talked since, but we sometimes find each other occasionally glancing in the other's direction. my friends joke around that i stalk him, and one of his friend told him and he looks at me like i'm a psycho. what is up with him cause his friends still tell me that he likes me but he is just shy or wants to look cool or something, but i dont think so. he is a jerk since this year started and i want to stop liking him, but i cant change my feelings overnight. how do i get over him, get him to know i'm forgetting him (uhh....kinda!) and what's up with him... i mean all guys?!

Oke.. it sounds to me that you need to sit him down,(if it's possible) and talk to him about all of this.. It's such stupid drama that you guys need to get it out into the open... Just tell him you don't know what he's heard but he hasn't been much of a friend lately to you.. Let him talk too though. Let him explain himself, maybe he really does like you. That could be why he's avoiding you. His friends are also kinda being jerks so ask him if he can talk to them too. Just try to get a chance to talk to him. And there's nothing you can really do to get over him.. it just takes time. If he stays a jerk just forget about him and eventually you won't even know what you saw in him.. good luck!
