Question Posted Monday February 21 2005, 1:46 am

i just started a new school, and im really really shy. i really wanna make a good group of friends but im just too shy and everybody already has there group of friends. I have friends in the same school except they are not in my classes, so when it comes to partners in class, im alone. How can I make new friends without acting too straight forward or snobby?

Madison, you aren't that shy! Just walk up to one new person and say, " Hey I'm new and I'm Madison! Wanna eat together?"...or if it's already lunch, "Hey can I eat with you guys?"
Only snobs would turn you down! Once you have a group of friends out of class, you'll meet people in class!
