Sit them down and tell them that you really like this guy, and you won't do anything with him that you would regret. Also, about the friend thing, I don't think that's a big deal, just say "I don't get along with girls my age, so I hang out with guys". Besta Luck

you need to sit down and talk to them. tell them that you want them to trust you and that you wont sleep with him. say you learnt a lesson from your mum and you dont wanna be like her. let them know how it is nowadays. things have changed since they were little.

they prob. worry about you and that's what family does they only looking out for you for your own good. tell them and assure them that you are no way involved with your guy friends and tell them that you feel that you can have a bf. give them reasons why and have examples of why you deserve a bf.

you should talk to your grandparents about it and let them come and meet the gut your dating and then if they say no then that guy wasn't right for you! you have your whole life to find a guy! Hope I helped!

Signed,
your friend

You need to talk to them and tell them how you feel. Tell them that you should be allowed to date, because it's normal these days and that you aren't going to be like your mom. Also tell them that having guy friends won't do anything. If you just talk to them and explain your reasonings in a nice way, I'm sure they will understand will allow you to date or hang out with guys! Hope I helped :)
