hi i live in michigan and over spring break my best friend and I are going to los aggeles, california! we're realllllly excited any everything but we're worried bcuz some of our friends are jealous and we don't want them to feel bad. what should we do?
BeautifulMadness answered Saturday February 19 2005, 7:35 pm: Hiya,
I'm in exactly the same situation, only I live in Britain and am going to Spain with a friend :)
Of course your other friends are gonna be jealous...not only are you going to a cool place, but you chose your friend/your friend chose you to go over all of those other friends! They'll get over it, trust me. For now, try not to talk about it in front of them 'cause that's a bit like rubbing it in. For the ones who seem interested and are not jealous/at least hiding their jealousy, include them - ask them what clothes you should take and the like.
Your friends will get over this, I promise you. Don't let them being a little jealous ruin your holiday - I hope you have a great time!!
Blessed Be,

If you don't want to do that, you can buy them something when you go to California. Just tell your friends that you and your best friend have planned this for a long time. Don't worry, your friends will get over this. Hope I helped :)
