well for me, guyz have to be REALLY flirty and NOT SHY, ummmm well a good thing to do, since valentines day is coming up, and the dance, maybe you should get her something that will let her know that you like her, then maybe ask her to the dance, then maybe things will lead to yall goin out lol, you just gotta be you, and try to find little ways to just let her know that you like her, but whatever you do, DONT act diffrent around her, cuz if she likes you, she likes you, not the guy you try to be around her, and DONT act weird around her, thats hte WORST and as far as what gurlz like, what do you mean like gifts? what???
