kissing *her*
I'm a male, and I'm 15 going on 16. I've had this off and on relationship with a really special girl over the past couple of years (since May 21, 2003 to be precise). Each time she'd broken up with me (like three times), it was because she was scared of either getting hurt--perhaps she feared commitment too. During these periods of breakups we'd both had other minor relationships, none of which were remotely sucessful. As of a few weeks ago, we are back together now, and closer than ever before. She seems to make it very clear that she's not going to break up with me again, and I can tell she's being sincere. And we talk about our relationship a lot more, and things are very much different than they used to be... The thing is though, we've never kissed. We'd held hands in the past, but that was it. This time we hold hands a lot more and we're more "cuddly" I often get a strong desire to kiss her. We've also recently said I love you to each other. And I think we both mean it. One can laugh at this (or not), but relevantly--it should help to explain how much I want to kiss her. I'm just not that great with showing affection, as much as I want to, I'm just sort of awkward. I want to, I just don't want to screw it up or do something weird. It has nothing to do with her, I'm like that with other things too. (You should see me dance. O_o Ugh.)
I don't know a lot about the different types of kissing (or even how to do them right), but one of my friends (a girl) had told me a while back that whenever I kiss a girl for the first time it should be closed mouth and such, but I don't think that she was including our history into the equation--I mean, we've been going out off and on for almost two years... I feel *REALLY* close to this girl now. I know she feels the same. I want to kiss her, and I wonder what "form" of kissing would be most appropriate. What are my choices, and what might be for the best? Should the first kiss be in private?

Aw congradulations on getting back together first off. Ok yeah i would say it should be in provate the first time around. You can do either a light peck..a closed mouth kiss or a french kiss which involves the tongue. You have some options. You can go for the closed mouth kiss first to start..then move to a french kiss. Or you can go right for the french kiss. Being that uyou love birds have a history.. go for the french kisss! Hope i helped.
