How can i convince my mom to let me go over my boyfriends house? Im 14 and hes 16 i guess she somewhat doesnt approve of that. Its imbarresing for him to come here because I live in a small apartment and my mom would have to sit with us omg that would be so bad. I dont kow why but even if he was my age she still wouldnt let me go over a guys house.Does she not trust me?

Your mom does trust you, it's just that she probably doesn't know your boyfriend that much and doesn't trust him and that may be the reason why she won't let you go over his house. Just talk to your mom and ask her if she will let you go over your boyfriend's house if she got to know him first. I'm pretty sure that will work. Hope I helped :)

she most likely doesnt trust him. im 14 n so is my guy friend...and my guy friend asked me to come over to hang out one night, who she knows and she kept asking if his mom was gonna b there bc she doesnt trust him though he goes to a private school and i go to a public one...i know its kind of an embrassing, but like most mom's its hard to lose their little baby girl...i know its something that takes along time to approve on...just give her some time n she'll let you

she's just being a mom "overprotective". if she won't let you go to his house try to go with some friends so you all can just hang out. Let her get to know him better. Tell her about him and the nice stuff he does and just make her like him. That way she will trust him more. The two age thing does add to it and what a 14 wants out of a relationship is diffrent then what a 16 year old wants.
