Hi. So i was just wondering what does p.m. mean and how do you contact someone that you answered a question for if they didn't leave their name? Tried looking on the help page but wasn't there.
I'm a bit of a newbie, so please help somebody
selectopaque answered Tuesday February 1 2005, 12:28 pm: pm is usually referring to a personal message. On this site, there is no way to ask a personal message. If you want to send someone a message, and you know their user name, then you can just ask them a question to their column, or contact them through aim, msn, or an email if they decide to put them on their column.
If you want to contact someone that asked a question, and you don't know their username, then just leave whatever info you want to give them in the actual answer. If you want them to give you their user name, then ask them if they can leave it when you answer the question. Hopefully they see that and reply back to you with info to get ahold of them.
